We take professional-grade very seriously. Even the most basic Canyon work truck delivers on every point. With a solid base, our dependable and economical 2.5-litre 4-cylinder, 6-speed automatic transmission and 2WD, this truck will take on bigger jobs than you think.
Shifting in 4WD, the GMC Canyon comes into its own with our established 3.6-litre V6. With the adjoining 8-speed automatic transmission, towing capabilities nudge that of some of the bigger players. But it’s not all about hard work.
Depending on trim and selected options, your Canyon will be equipped with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, a 3.5-inch driver information display, a 7- or 8-inch infotainment display, Bose Premium audio and a heated steering wheel.
For the bigger jobs, GMC has an ace up its sleeve. The GMC Canyon can optionally be furnished with our 2.8-litre Duramax turbo-diesel 4-cylinder engine and its generous 369 lb.-ft. of torque. When properly set up, the Canyon can tow up to 7,700 lbs.
We’ve also made sure that our truck can fulfill all family requirements. We are well aware that many expect their pickup to excel at work just as much as for family duty. Our popular and convenient crew cab can seat five in comfort. With an optional tonneau cover, the long box becomes an enormous trunk.
